Policy Statement 1.0 The Board’s interaction with the
Yearbook Staff and the annual
review of the SACHSA yearbook.
This policy statement will describe the interaction of the Board with the
yearbook staff (SACHSA Members Only),
and the annual review of the SACHSA yearbook. The Board does not want to
be the yearbook staff.
However, the Board will provide support and resources for the yearbook
staff anytime they are requested.
The Board encourages and empowers the yearbook staff to provide an
excellent yearbook that consistently
reflects both SACHSA values and mission. Each year, the Board will
provide a final review of the yearbook
to ensure it is a high quality product. Upon final review, SACHSA board
members will attach any written
explanations concerning changes made to the yearbook. The yearbook staff
reserves the right to be the
final editing authority of the SACHSA yearbook as long as the edits are
consistent with SACHSA
values and mission. Once approved by the Board, the yearbook will go to
print.
Policy Statement 2.0 The Board’s statement concerning the
conduct of email
announcements to the SACHSA membership email list.
This policy statement will explain what email announcements will be sent
to the SACHSA membership email list.
The Board approves email announcements sent to the SACHSA membership
email list for the purpose of providing
opportunities to SACHSA members. For example, emails requesting baby
sitting help, a job opportunity,
special classes, baby announcements, prayer requests, and sports
activities that are supported both inside
and outside of SACHSA are acceptable. The board prohibits the
transmission of email announcements for
the purpose of providing any commercial advertising of personal
businesses. SACHSA members may
advertise their personal businesses on the advertisement page of the
SACHSA website.
Please forward all email announcements to sachsaoffice@yahoo.com, and
your email announcement will
be forwarded to the SACHSA membership email list.
